About Us

SBMUN is a United Nations simulation for middle and high school students, set on the shores of the Red Sea; where diplomacy, service, and cultural dialogue come together in Somabay’s uniquely immersive setting. SBMUN is organized by the founder of the El Gouna International Model United Nations (EGIMUN), Egypt’s leading Red Sea-based MUN conference. With five successful editions and thousands of delegates trained, our team brings the same expertise and commitment to creating an immersive, solutions-driven conference experience in Somabay.

This expansive, self-contained community spans over ten million square meters, surrounded by the sea on three sides and framed by breathtaking desert mountains.
